The M3.5 × 0.6mm HSS Second Hand Tap is designed for cutting accurate internal metric threads in suitable metal workpieces.
Manufactured from High Speed Steel (HSS), this intermediate tap features a straight-flute design with three cutting flutes and an ISO 2 thread tolerance.
It is suitable for general engineering, fabrication, maintenance and workshop applications. The intermediate tap can be used after a taper tap to continue forming an internal thread, with a bottoming tap available for applications requiring threads close to the bottom of a blind hole.
