Makita DC40RA 40V Max XGT Rapid Battery Charger – 240V
The Makita DC40RA is a high-performance rapid battery charger designed for the Makita 40V Max XGT lithium-ion cordless tool system.
Featuring intelligent digital charging technology, the DC40RA communicates with compatible XGT batteries to monitor battery condition, voltage, current and temperature throughout the charging cycle.
Its dual-fan cooling system helps manage temperatures in both the battery and charger circuitry, allowing efficient charging and reduced downtime on busy jobsites.
The DC40RA can fully charge a Makita BL4025 2.5Ah battery in approximately 28 minutes, a BL4040 4.0Ah battery in 45 minutes, a BL4050F 5.0Ah battery in 50 minutes and a BL4080F 8.0Ah battery in approximately 76 minutes.
Additional features include clear charging status indicators, a selectable completion melody and wall-mounting capability.
The charger can also be used with compatible Makita 18V LXT lithium-ion batteries when fitted with the separately available ADP10 charging adaptor.
